I see your point, but IMHO a stable series that is always stable (which is not
the case if prime development happens there) is more valuable and worth the
effort (but that's exactly the point where our opinions differ).
I totally agree with Jürgen. The 1.5.X branch should be stable at any
time. A user should not have to care about whether it is safe to update
his/her 1.5.X release.
IMHO users also don't want to update their software every three months.
