One user send me a layout file for book, I will still need to clean up that
file and then we could export as book, instead of simply as article.
Also with very small changes I have been able to export website, that is a dtd
derived from docbook.

Export works, of course :) No import of docbook, and this will remain for a while.

One of the features that is almost done is the inclusion of other lyx documents.
the major drawback, for the moment, is the absence of the Logical Characther Styles,
