We should really do something about this. My theory is that we have overloaded the notion of "default paragraph style": 1) the style that comes up when you start writing a new paragraph; and 2) a neutral style used to fill text insets such as tabular cells. (On the other hand many text insets, such as branch, will want paragraphs of type 1 default style. We could use a boolean like forceDefaultParagraphStyle here (?).) Obviously both need to be available styles. But in cases like this they could be different. Does this sound like a plan? - Martin
