consensus here in Bromarv that a branch is not done to be dumped on
the trunk.

I didn't. My mind was pretty clear on what I was going to do. The only
reason why I didn't work on trunk directly was because of the release
freeze.
nor introduced bugs in the process. But somehow I would doubt it.
Bugs are always possible.
