JMarc and others, Assuming that it is difficult to determine which layout and class files are needed, so allowing users to explicitly include arbitrary files is needed, which way do you prefer?
1. What the patch does: insert->child document->embedded. It is treated like other child documents, with file monitoring, update, extract, edit etc. Such an inset may be confusing though. 2. Add File->Settings->Embedding, with [ ] Use bundled format by default (this is needed anyway, but should be disabled by default). Extra files to bundle: [ ] [browse] [a list of files] I vote for 1, LGB votes for 2, and your vote will determine which way to go. Bo PS: Without the manifest file, Document->Toggle compression is equivalent to Document->Save in bundled format, with all embedded files unbundled. If there is no objection, Document->Toggle compression will be removed, along with src/support/gzstream* .
