Well that's just the problem. I had almost nothing running, other than fvwm
and some xterms. When I run netscape, I always get a private colormap for
LyX (and Grace and Vim) which leads me to believe that netscape totally
sucks. But I didn't have netscape running, besides which that's not the
error message I get when I'm running netscape. Plus, this didn't happen in
my Jun 6 cvs copy (nor any other LyX I've run since 0.11.35 or so).
