My opinion would be to split the different texts in different windows with an anchor system to jump from one paragraph to the corresponding paragraph. Something similar to the interface of the Classical Text Editor (http://www.oeaw.ac.at/kvk/cte/tradap3e.gif). If you scroll in one windows, the other windows scroll also to align the anchors. If you mix the two languages in the same windows, you screw search&replace, for example if you want to search&replace 'et' in the Latin version but not in the French translation. Spell checking is also horrible. The translation workflow is to start to enter totally the original text, then type paragraph after paragraph your translation. It makes sense to start with one window and then to add auxiliary windows : translation, critical apparatus, etc... Cheers, Charles
