Although somewhat shocking ;-) I figured out that my memory is very weak, because I had asked a very similar question already in December (http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg133047.html), but had forgot about it. Jean-Marc Lasgouttes gave me at that time the hint to run "make distclean" and then configure, which worked perfectly. This time it doesn't work, so I really took your solution of deleting the whole tree. It works now again, although I have a frequent crash now, but I'll report that seperately. Thanks, Sebastian
