I think the embedding discussion currently leads to nowhere. My
proposal is that everybody calms down. Embedding is too late in the

It's not embedding. It's the fact that Bo has been allowed to bully
and abuse not just me but at least two other people into silence. And

I'm sorry, but I won't work under those conditions.
Let's just forget about this embeding/bundling business. If we really,
really want something for 1.6, Enrico's script covers (IMHO) pretty much
all useful use cases. All other side cases have easy work-around by
using an SCM or a proper directory structure with zip.
