Hi, I would like to propose a slightly different patch of LFUN_NOMENCL_INSERT as the one in changeset 26107. First, you will probably always want to supply the description of a symbol (that is the rationale behind the nomenclature), so I think that the dialog should always been presented to the user. Second, I think it is a useful feature to be able to select some text before inserting the nomenclature, but this selection is not supposed to be replaced by the nomenclature inset.
