Hey devs.

I've been having Lyx segfaults while adding labels to equations(??). After
some playing with the editor, I managed to sort out the source of the
problem. Looks like Lyx does not like some characters.

For example, if I want to use ħ, instead of Ctrl+M \hbar , the editor will
show the correct character on the screen, but will crash randomly when doing
some menu operations (ex: add label to an equation that uses these chars).
Also, Latex will not generate the output correctly. Perhaps these characters
should either be supported, or forbidden on the editor. It's very easy to
type them (just use Alt Gr + h for the ħ, for example), and not trivial for
the user to find out that they are the reason why the program suddenly exits
when doing an apparently unrelated GUI operation.

I'm attaching a file that shows this happening. I'm using Lyx 1.5.5

Best,

Giovani Faccin
