I do not understand at all why a tree-like structure (such as http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=21558&package_id=15149) with mirrors is worse than ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/blah/blah/blah. In addition, if new versions of lyx are released from sf.net, it is natural for users to look for old releases from this site. Anyway, I am not volunteering to create these historical releases so they will likely stay at ftp.lyx.org. Bo
