Lyx Version 1.6.2 on Linux.

1. copy/paste is deactivated permanently, I can only copy/paste by mouse
(very annoying for a mouse hater!) and the menu-functions. (I think to
rmember that this was working in the last lyx version.) I also get the
message in the bottom line that this function ist deactivated. Is there
any switch I have not found jet?

2. Sometimes, mostly at the start of a new lyx-session it is impossible
to paste something at all, wether by mouse nor by keys. (I tried, but
have not found the necessary precondition in full datail.) To overcome
the problem, sometimes it is useful to open a second document and paste
the text there and after marking again copy it to the other document. If
I was working some time with the document it is working correctly
(beside the problem described in item 1 above). Is it a time problem? is
it a line problem? Very mysterious. Sounds like one of the usual storys
of unskilled users following the "it`s the system not me"-motto. Is
there anyone else who can confirm the unbelievable?

3. When copying columns of a table out of Open Office Writer Vesion 2.4
(I mean Writer not Calc!) and paste it into the column of a lyx table
the last line will generally and absolutely reproducable be omitted. (I
have to that by mouse - see above, item 1.) There will be shown a black
clock instead of the text in that line. Pasting outside a table gives
all lines of the column, the last table item included, certainly in a
simple line.

4. Just trying to experiment to copy into a lyx table with one line
extra, I actually have the problem described in item 2 again! ctrl+alt+v
and mouse-paste is not working! In the menu it is marked black - say
active. But after writing some lines it will become deactivated! And in
opening an existing document after closing lyx and satrting a new one
agaiain I have that problem of impossibility to paste again. I acannot
tell if it is an interfacing problem of linux Gnome ore such a thing or
if it is originated by lyx. But I can say it is heavily annoying.

5. BTW: If setting up a tble with one extra line, that in item 3
described problem with the missing last line is not happening!Good to
know as a workaround, but not a real solution!
