Hello, I've been trying to get Inkscape to convert my svgs instead of the default(which gives an empty image after opening octave's svg plots) but it seems that the $$i placeholder is replaced with '0_home_afief_university_SemesterC_homeworks_waves_images_hw2q1d1.svg' for a file that's called '/home/afief/university/SemesterC/homeworks/waves/images/hw2q1d1.svg'
I don't know about the internals of Lyx, but it seems to me that the real filename should be passed instead of the string I'm currently seeing. I'm using Lyx 1.6.4 from the Ubuntu 9.10 repositories. Afief
