the first links i tried were not public domain. > Anyway, I'm not a lawyer. we are going offtopic here, but anyway - one of my private edification - even if you were lawyer, it won't be much of help ;) before solving this i tried to understand how is it with copyrights when you make your own picture based on another one and looking on the various cases "somebody VS Jeff Koons" the whole distinction between transformative vs derivative work seems to be question of interpretation done by court, so you never know ;) not to speak that i have no idea which laws should we abide... we are no company registered in some particular country. pavel
