Yes, although "comittee" sound a bit exaggerated ;-)
As to the patch: I am fine with it in general. However, as for 1.6.6, we are
almost finished, and I'd like to stick with critical bug fixes for now. So
if no one urges me to reconsider, I propose to postpone this to 1.6.7 (and
put it in as soon as 1.6.6 is released).
