Bug (?) with LyX-166-4-23-AltInstaller-Small

I used the new alt installer to install 1.6.6 on an XP box running 
1.6.5.  Prior to installing 1.6.6, I had LyX configured to wake up 
maximized with the view toolbar positioned on the right margin.  Since 
installing 1.6.6, both 1.6.5 and 1.6.6 wake up windowed with the view 
toolbar in the default position (below the extra toolbar).

If I run 1.6.5, maximize the window and reposition the view toolbar, 
1.6.5 will remember those settings until the next time I load 1.6.6 
(which never remembers the changes).  Running 1.6.6 causes 1.6.5 to 
forget the settings, which I assume comes from 1.6.6 overwriting 
something (a registry setting?) they share.
