I already can use Formatted Ref and basically get the same behavior,
can't I? Or am I missing the point?
For example, it happened a few times that I had to put a reference to
the same footnote I had introduced before. In such a case, I needed the
simple footnote little number, e.g., $^3$. The "formatted ref" would add
instead a "footnote (3)", AFAICS.
Also, if you have time, please have a look at the other issues I
mentioned in my previous e-mail.
