I didn't write this code myself. There used to be SourceForge project
"cgettext" maintaining this, but for unknown reasons it's entirely
gone now.
I had a copy of the gettext 0.17 files around which is what we're
using now
on Windows.
Trunk currently has 0.16.1 so it would make sense to upgrade to 0.17 and
to apply this patch.
I'd have to understand what the actual patch is. I did not find it at
first glance in the zip file.
