After entering the instructions for installing the svn versions in the wiki 
and saw how compicated this became, I changed my mind. I now build both with 
own suffix and follow the suffestions in the thread over the ubuntu ppa:

- lyx-2.0-svn for branch
- lyx-2.1.svn for trunk

Wiki is already updated.
