I'm not sure whether I prefer cmake to move the tex2lyx binary to a tex2lyx subdir, or autoconf to move all binaries to the same bin dir. I do feel that version suffixes should be used only when installing. Again, maybe I did a wrong configuration of cmake.
I would prefer that too, but it may be contrary to cmake philosophy. JMarc
