No. Not monkeying git. The distributed .svn dirs just created a lot of problesm and make a lot of features in svn a lot harder/slower/bigger than they should have to be. You were nerver really allowed to do anything with .svn dirs. If you did the shame is on you. You just _might_ have been ok with looking for it, but looking _into_ it? no. -- lgb
