I would request an export capability to enable HTML5 attributes. The rationale for this request is that although pdf is very useful way of circulating documents, it does not quite present the best medium for presentations in the age of unlimited video and graphics. By contrast HTML5 presents very interesting opportunities to use the compression of .webm and .webq and the exciting capabilities of having multiple videos on a single page which run in sync. - to just mention a few aspects. As presentations run on local machines normally we do not need to worry about all browser support.
Sone of the capabilities are demonstrated in http://slides.html5rocks.com/#formula-outro-slide Linux in particular has had problems in running videos in pdf renderers. I would thus request consideration for: 1. .webq and .webm files to be accepted by lyx. 2. an html5 file compatible output with a page like presentation as shown in the html5rocks demonstration. Lyx is a great tool that I would like to see more widely used at the school level and capabilities such as these would make that more feasible.
