I can reproduce as follows: 1. Start a fresh LyX session. 2. Open a new document. 3. Save (or Save As).
I get the following messages: Saving document ~/newfile1.lyx... Saving document ~/newfile1.lyx... done. Document ~/newfile1.lyx reloaded.
