I think that should be enough. A pointer to the knitr manual in
"Help-->Specific Manuals-->Knitr Manual" can be helpful too (I
remember Liviu mentioned this once).

BTW, can you export knitr.lyx to LyX2.0 format? Just like I did here:

Otherwise users may not be able to open this file (\lyxformat 424 is
too high).
