PassThru is tricky, due to the encoding/language switches involved. It was a
significant effort to get it working correctly with PassThru parent
insets/layouts (see the discussions with Liviu on the Sweave Chunk inset). I'm
reluctant to touch this again at the moment (even more so since the period
where I had extra spare time for Lyx has ended).
