Please, please give me an option to have LyX do nothing regarding git. In particular I want an option to have LyX make absolutely no commands like: git add, git commit, git pull, git push, git merge, git cherry-pick, git branch, or git checkout, and no versions of any of those that have side effects. This should be the default.
The user should understand any non-side-effect-free git action that LyX might undertake, and the user must have a way to have LyX perform no such actions. *Please*, as a git power-user, I *beg*: leave the git-fu to me. Nico --
