We are moving towards the release of LyX 2.1. The first beta release is
due for the first weekend of June. The exact due date of the official
release will hopefully follow soon, but this will depend on the feedback
we receive.
Please start preparing the translations.

What about merging the kill-gettext branch? It eases somewhat the
translation work since it does not require to install LyX to test the
translations. Moreover, this would allow us to do some testing, assuming
some translators will try to compile and run LyX.
