Hi Hatim,
at first I should say that it is not recommended to use LyX 2.2 for real documents since we did not even released a beta version of LyX 2.2 and so it is not surprise that you find bugs.
To your problem: Others reported the same problem but I cannot reproduce them. All LyX 2.1.x files can be converted to the format of LyX 2.2.x without problems here.
So as workaround save your file in the format of LyX 2.1.x and then continue your work with LyX 2.1.
If saving to 2.1.x format does not work, use this command python lyx2lyx -t 474 yourfile.lyx > yourfile2.lyx regards Uwe
