Thanks for this offer. I had a quick look at the pandoc docs, and it occurs to me that biblatex is only supported if LaTeX is used as the output format. So on the way from LaTeX to docx, for example, biblatex cannot be used. Rather, one has to use pandocs own citation styles (which pretty much rules it out for me).
