This is what a programmer would call it, but I think this is just too long for a menu entry (and who knows what it'd be in other languages). Why not simply Symbols, or if you want it, Special Symbols?
Another possibility is to have an option (local/Document; or global/LyX) to whether these few strings will be translated as before.
