Create a float, remove the caption, insert a table in the float, open the
parameters windows with a right click in the table (first row), then in the
tab "Multi-page table" check:
* use a multi-page table
* caption
Then right-click in the caption, you will see the Caption
(LongTableNoNumber) checkbox. Select it, the (unlabelled) indication will
appear.
Thanks, I see it now. I fail to see, though, why the caption has to have
such a ridiculous name. What about just NoNumber or even "Unnumbered" or
whatever string sounds like proper English (I think we can even afford a
space in there is needed) ? The Longtable part of the caption type is
irrelevant there.
I was even going to propose just some starred notation like we do for
Section and friends, but I do not think that we can make it right here.
