Compile bug in lyx-1.1.6?

Hello,

If I make changes only on header files(*.h) after compiling the whole
sources, then "make" does not recognize the changes. To get the changed
effects, I have to "make distclean" first. and then "configure; make". Is
this a compile bug in lyx-1.1.6, or do I miss something here?
