#:O) no I think it's good to have someone to drop in if I have absolutely
     no time (and then I have someone to blame ;)

Well I thought about this and if we introduce a "bool selection" variable
which is true if we have a selection we can have this also on one cell,
the behaviour would then be:

First select 2 cells, then if you go back only one cell remains selected!
You cannot deselect this last cell with selection operations, but just move
the cursor or do anything then the selection is automatically canceled.

Would something like this work out good?
