Well, a few weeks ago you even wanted to use the latest Qt 5 version. I argued to use the current long-term support version of Qt 5 which is 5.6. I want to switch the default to Qt 5 because the support for Qt 4 will most probably run out during the life cycle of LyX 2.3.
