Good idea. I tested outside of Dropbox and still get the crash, although
it is not 100% reproducible for me. I wonder if valgrind might be useful
to try in this situation.

The child has the master set in its document properties. So there are
two "master" documents here: the one that the child thinks is its
master, and the one that actually includes it.
