Yes, that would be fine. I suppose it is easiest to copy lib/doc/es/UserGuide.lyx, etc, to some other location and work with that. Then you can upload the result here, and someone can commit it. I should have added that there are likely to be changes in all the manuals that have been translated: User Guide, Additional Features, Customization, Embedded Objects, and Math. There may also be some in the Tutorial and the Introduction, though those usually do not change much. Thanks!
