It only slightly rings a bell, because I'm trimming and playing with
braces, but only when converting ERTs to DocBook (InsetERT::docbook, lines
144 to 198).
I tested only for test.ltx, but I can reproduce the error at commit
df59649a (before any of my Unicode changes).
