No, I run Mint22.1, based on ubuntu based on debian.
But my pdflatex is from TL25, not from a package texlive-extra-utils or
texlive-latex-base or texlive-latex-extra.
$ which pdflatex
/usr/local/texlive/2025/bin/x86_64-linux/pdflatex
