How big is it exactly? We have updated the Arabic *.dic file a while ago to a much smaller file (13.4 MB). Do you have this or the previous one (ca. 37 MB)? The former should be used with LyX 2.5 pre-releases, the latter in the (latest) stable LyX 2.4 versions.
