We are happy to release the second beta for LyX 2.5. You can find
tarballs and binaries for Windows and MacOS here:

As usual, we do not recommend using beta software for production
work---though many people on the development team are, and we believe
that beta 2 is pretty stable.

Beta 2 is 'feature complete': No new features will be added. However,
translations are not yet complete. We expect to have those for the first
release candidate, in a few weeks.
