The issue was that the script inset did not have a buffer set.
It fixes both cases for me. If someone can confirm, I propose to
backport this to 2.5.x.
My question is: why was the buffer not set already? Do we have an idea
of where this MathData object was created?
I will try to debug that as soon as I find time.
