Dear LyX Development Team,

I hope you are all doing well.

As a new contributor and user of LyX, I’ve noticed how many researchers,
engineers, and students around the world use LyX in their academic work.
However, LyX currently doesn’t have an official presence on *LinkedIn*,
which is one of the main platforms for professionals and academics to share
their work and discover open-source tools.

I would like to kindly suggest creating an *official LinkedIn page for the
LyX project*.
Such a page could:

   -

share updates about new releases and features,
   -

   highlight community contributions and tutorials,
   -

and increase visibility of LyX among students, educators, and
   researchers worldwide.

If the team agrees, I would be glad to assist in preparing an outline or
draft for the page setup (description, visuals, tags, etc.), so it
represents the project accurately.

Thank you for considering this idea, and for maintaining such an inspiring
project.

Best regards,
*Mohamed Raed Boukari*
