This is up to you. I don't see any problem on linux so was just guessing
what the issue might be on mac. It's not even clear to me whether this
is soming which stems from upgrading C++ standard Qt/Mac libs relies on
or implementation change in Qt or simply a bug to be reported.

If the patch and switch to -std=c++17 fixes your  compilation problems feel
free to commit it, I do not have better alternative then to wait whether this
might accidentally improve in next Qt release.
