Boa tarde Jean-Marc, :-) I gave up on 2.4.x after these crashes. I am now running 2.5.x by default. I have been having some crashes (that are reported as an off by one errors) where it says that something tried to access position 11 when there is only position 10. Those seemed to occur when doing paste (as I am reworking some slides by changing some material from one place to the other). On the other hand I am near the end of the semester and so quite busy and so I forget to report these. On the other hand the emergency save worked always and so I am annoyed but happy because there is no work lost. Honestly with this machine I suspect some kind of Heisenbugs... I have been having frequent crashes. For example, today morning I got the one I am attaching. I was reviewing the pdf for the presentation. I closed the okular (pdf) window and lyx crashed. ?!?!?!
