I tried to report a LyX bug after not having used the bug tracker for quite a while, at https://www.lyx.org/trac/login. Despite using the password that used to work, which I had saved in my password manager, I got an error message saying Account locked, please try again after 12/07/25 02:45:13 <http://13.ro/>, (4 hours in the future.) WTF?! ONE bad login and my account is locked? There’s not even a “reset my password” option I can find.
In the confusion this engendered I ended up resubmitting the login attempt, and now it tells me Account locked, please try again after 12/08/25 01:51:02 -- a full day later! Why such a hostile interface when all I want to do is report a bug?
