Some existing methods cannot be used any more, but the following step still works: - Grant acessibility to installed LyX in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security - Open LyX - There appears a button to continue to open in the warning dialog > I read that homebrew supports unofficial taps, where signatures are not > required, so someone might try to establish this for lyx as well later... I can set up an unofficial tap if it becomes necessary. It might be better to create an official account in GitHub for it. It’s not funny to be guided to an unknown personal account after facing a security warning :) > 2026/01/04 3:27、Jean-Marc Lasgouttes <[email protected]>のメール: > Le 02/01/2026 à 10:45, Pavel Sanda a écrit : >> PS: I personally think that from both a) philosophical and b) practical >> reasons I don't think we should officially support apple signing. >> a) It's absurd to pay apple so we can improve it's ecosystem by our own free >> work. >> They have fee waiver for non-profits, but unless someone wants to lead us >> through the legalization to become formal organization, that's no-go. >> (I did not check, but there might be some umbrella org for signing >> established floss projects?) > > One thing we could try is to ask the people at TUG who already accept > donations for us. Other ways would make LyX look more or less unrecognized. Koji
