No, in the sense that this is not deterministic. The assertions happen sometimes. The only deterministic pattern is that this only happens when doing copy and paste in the paste part. So I do not have a recipe to repeat this. :-( For example when I reopen LyX and repeat the same operation it works. So I am not able to replicate this.
