I just tried to install LyX 2.5.2 from source on two different machines,
both running Linux Mint 22.3. In both cases, the make command eventually
threw an error. Here is the tail end of the output from make:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxkbcommon: No such file or directory

Just for grins, I ran make check and got more or less the same error
message (albeit with "Error 1" rather than "Error 2").
Any suggestions for a fix?
