1) unmapped alt- sequences are passed as characters--Alt-o (to open
[ok, I was wrong!]) put an o in my title.

2) inability to read old files. I don't know if this was a spring bug
or a current bug. I've attached the offending document and the simple
postscript insert. This worked in the spring, and now fails to
print--but it renders internally. The file came from the fall, but I
believe it printed properly in the spring.

I go out hunting for deer.
Unfortunately, there is an extremist pro-mammal group in the woods hunting
 hunters.
One of them has a bow an arrow, and has a
\begin_inset Formula \( 15\% \)
\end_inset

 chance of hitting me.
The other has a shotgun, and has a
\begin_inset Formula \( 10\% \)
\end_inset

Assuming that these are independent events, what is the chance that I am
injured (or worse)? Answer with set theoretic notation, and use this to
 provide a numerical answer.

What is the chance that they both hit me? Answer with set theoretic notation,
